The Firm works closely with the Japan Customs Bureau and has been involved in around 500 customs seizures. The Firm has assisted with the seizure of over tens of thousands of items, ranging from items of clothing to automotive parts, by Japan Customs; an estimated value of over JPY30,000,000 worth of counterfeit goods have been successfully prevented from being sold and distributed in Japan through the Firm’s efforts in said customs seizures. Further, the Firm has provided seminars to Japan Customs, on behalf of clients, to aid in preventing counterfeit products entering Japan.
