SY Represented 2 of 3 Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry 2018 in Japanese patent matters

The Firm is humbled to represent 2 of the 3 Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2018 winners, Prof. Frances H. Arnold & Sir Gregory P. Winter, in Japanese patent matters.

These ground-breaking Nobel Prize winning scientists were recognized for their scientific discoveries that “harnessed the power of evolution” to produce enzymes and antibodies that have led to new drugs and biofuels.

The Firm has prosecuted subject matter related to their discoveries in patent matters on behalf of Prof. Arnold, California Institute of Technology, Sir Winter and the Medical Research Council (MRC) at the Japan Patent Office.
