Mr. Seiya TOGASHI assists and counsels local and foreign life sciences clients to develop efficient strategies to ensure successful patent portfolio management, prosecution, opposition and invalidation. He handles a wide variety of patent portfolios from emerging to growth-stage companies, and he specializes in the fields of biotechnology, immunological therapies and diagnostics, recombinant DNA technologies, microbiology, and molecular biology.

Hailing from the northernmost prefecture of Japan, Mr. Togashi finished both his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences (Macromolecular Functions) and his master’s degree in Life Science from Hokkaido University in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Not long after completing his graduate degree, he joined the Firm in 2014.
